Hi everyone,
I am new to Parenting Allies and I just wanted to share a little bit about myself and my family. I am currently a SAHM to a 13 months soon to be 14 months old son. I am an RN and was working full-time in the long-term care/visiting nurse field before my son was born. For the past 6 months I have been running a baby/kid bargains website called BigBabyBargains that provides links to coupons, discounted baby/toddler and kid gear and clothing and just about everything family and kid related. Check out the site (www.bigbabybargains.com) if you have time.
Right now I am in the process I getting ready to reenter the healthcare field on a perdiem basis in order to provide some financial stability to the household. My hubbie is in the computer biz and recently found another job after being unemployed for over 6 months. Anyway, I would really like some feedback from other parents regarding making the transition easier from full-time stay at home caregiver to part-time worker. How did your child react and what did you do to make them feel more at ease with a babysitter? I welcome your thoughts and comments.
